An additional warning: it is in really poor taste to “break up” with your fantastic (gorgeous, amazing, funny, awesome, super-mega smart, hot) derby-playing girlfriend in the name of an April Fool’s Day prank. Hopefully my black eye will fade in a couple of weeks. 
This is a personal (travel) blog intended to provide friends and family with my comings and goings as I stumble my way through all manner of adventures. This blog is in no way affiliated with listings on the blogroll or any other organisation mentioned herein.
Posts will most often be filled with photos and snarky comment or two, as well as a heaping pile of stuff that I find interesting. As a personal blog, I will try to keep the unsubstantiated claims to a minimum, but note that my posts are not peer-reviewed, professionally academic nor meant to be read as such.
